Meet Arika
Arika Estep is a Certified Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® (ABM) Practitioner. She is also certified in all of the ABM Mastery Programs: ABM for Children with Special Needs, ABM for Vitality and Anti-Aging and ABM for High Performers. She started her ABM journey while searching for ways to help her son, Emmett. He was born with a rare genetic mutation, called Xia-Gibbs Syndrome. It causes developmental delays and low muscle tone.
After trying traditional therapies for about a year, Emmett had made some progress, but was still delayed in all areas, so she decided to give ABM a try. When Emmett was 22 months old, he had his first block of ABM lessons.
Arika saw progress almost immediately and others noticed the changes too. Emmett had better eye contact, a longer attention span, and was more observant. His body movements were more organized and more deliberate. His fine motor skills, balance, and reflexes all improved.
After consistently seeing such profound results, Arika decided to become a Practitioner, not only to help Emmett, but other children with special needs and adults with chronic pain or brain injury.
